Collection: Detective Jean-Bolippe Garminet

Jean-Bolippe Garminet is a famous Cherbourg historical figure. He was a wealthy rentier, but was known locally for his detective work and often assisted to law enforcement in complex inquiries. He earned the sobriquet "Sherlock Holmes of Normandy" because there are rumors he partly inspired the famous character from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
